Coltsfoot is a woolly, perennial herb3-11cm high which derives it’s name from the hoof-shaped leaves, that appear once the yellow flower heads die down. The plant can be found in Europe, the United States, Canada, northern Africa, central, western and northern Asia. The medicinal parts are the flowers and the leaves.
